The Trainer
I recently had a training on Communication Processes with The Trainer who had THE ACCENT!! Fluency, correct usage of words, expressions, etc came quite naturally to him (Well that is quite obvious isnt it? He's a trainer afterall!!).He entered the room alongwith an aura that made all of us easy..smile on his face, his characteristic humour and ofcourse that unmistakable ponytail..(proving he could be supercool even in the corporate environment!!).I wont say that I didnt learn anything from him...I believe every single human being teaches us something or the other and throughout our life we keep on learning.., but I learnt more on life than on "Communication Processes" from him (and mind you, he has a tremendous hold on the subject). And the reason I mention The Trainer here is because I regained myself and my perspective after I met him. There are very few people who actually help you realise the purpose of your being, channelise your energies towards good and whose words you can dote upon. He is one of the few for me.
There is a famous line (4m a leading vehicle manufacturing company's advertisement).."The Only Thing That Stops You Is YOU". Coming to think of it, it makes sense... when I am happy, what keeps me from shouting with joy??? Its me!!The thought might be there in all of us but we never pondered over it...there is nothing on this planet that we cant do! The sooner we realise, the better.
Our lives have become one big CHASE...for wealth, material possessions and so on and so forth. And in this race, we dont get time to think about those who have stood the test of time with us. And most shockingly, some of us dont even realise who makes a difference in our lives. We keep on living a fake life till it becomes too late for us to mend relationships. At the end of the day each of us needs an emotional bondage (which we deliberately try to keep on dodging by showing our practicality. I mean, if we understand that we love someone, why dont we just go ahead and live with it? why do we have to think about the uncertain future? Just to show others that we are not emotionally insecure, we lose someone who would have made us secure!! ).
Well, emotions are something on which I can keep on writing, but essentially the idea here is that we all have someone who has the potential of changing our lives for the good...and we just have to identify him or her...!
